E-LEARNING COURSES
http://olc.scouting.org/index.html
This site provides a variety of materials, from quick references to complete courses, all designed to help our members improve leadership skills and deliver a quality program.
These courses can help adult leaders deliver quality Scouting experiences to youth. A log-in is required; however anyone may create a user account and view the courses. Registered members of the BSA may provide their member numbers (as part of the user profile) to receive credit.

If you take the Youth Protection Course or the Troop Committee Challenge ONLINE...
- ...you will need to set up an account with the elearning site on Scouting.org. The login will ask for your BSA ID number (found on your registration card). If you do not have the card at the time you're signing up, create a profile and take the course anyway without entering the number. When you receive your card update your profile with the BSA Number and your records will be updated automatically.
- ...you do not need to register with the Council office. Print off the last page and submit a copy to your Committee Chair for records, but the National Council's site will update Rainbow Council's records automatically.
- If you are taking a class outside of Rainbow Council, be sure to register with THAT council, and also make sure you get a copy of your training card. Submit this card to your District Training Chair for recording.
