WELCOME TO THE RAINBOW COUNCIL,
BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA
The aim of Scouting is simple: to deliver the Scout Oath and Promise to the youth of America. Our numerous programs and activities are all focused around the simple premise that giving the youth of our nation responsibility and the opportunity to serve, will create better citizens and leaders.
OUR OBJECTIVE
Our objective is to present in the most professional manner Rainbow Council, its Scouting Program, Outdoor Opportunities, and provide information to support all Scouters that serve the youth of Grundy, Kankakee, and Will counties

The Council Recognition Dinner will be held on February 21, 2009 instead of the date that was scheduled on the Council Calendars that were distributed in May that list the date as January 24, 2009.
This change was made due to a conflict with the Ishkote Klondike Derby.
